Overview

Tear your way around Northern Ireland's premier indoor karting track

This is Northern Ireland's premier indoor karting venue. The track is immense and the karts are the best in the business – 270cc Honda Powered Karts. The track also has electronic timing, providing accurate speeds and lap times – there shan't be any tweaking of the results on our watch.

The Grand Prix is the most popular race at the track – it's fast, furious and intense. On arrival, you will all be kitted out in a race suit, helmet and gloves, and shown a short film explaining the flags, as well as how to use the karts. Each of you will then have a practice lap to become one with the kart, before your instructor goes into detail about the Grand Prix activity. And, then it's time to race.

You'll all race in five heats, starting from the grid. Depending on your points, you'll start on a different grid position each time, and qualify for the semi-final. The more points you had in the heats, the better your start position. And, after the race – the top six drivers will go straight through to the grand final, with prizes for the top three.
