LNOF Guide to Manchester
The city of Northern cool and confidence.
The place where you’d struggle to have a bad night out if you tried. A vibrant metropolis where you can happily take your group on a hen weekend, and know for certain that you’re going to be waking up Monday morning with blurry, contented memories of chic clubs, tasty restaurants and wicked hosts.
Expect a splendid fusion of choice sounds, earthy humour and a banging nightlife scene. Manchester is crammed full of attitude, possessing both an undoubted character and renowned penchant for letting itself go. This is a fantastic city to walk around, shop, eat and drink in - whilst its clubs are of an extremely high quality, with plenty of cheesy options to be found in and around the house, trance and RnB nights. The lively gay scene only further underlines the fact that Manchester is now seen as a peerless, non-stop party HQ. We've rounded up all of the best Manchester pubs and clubs in our Ultimate Manchester Hen Do Guide, which is well worth checking out.
Manchester is absolutely the best place for a night out in the UK. The hipster Norther Quarter is pretty much Manchester's version of Shoreditch, but even better, in my opinion.

Providing you know where to go, and have a loose itinerary in place before you set off, and you've nailed down a great accommodation option virtually any Manchester hen weekend is nailed on to be a fire-cracker of fun and frothy humour. There’s a healthy regeneration to add to the notoriously lively pub and club scene - as well as the many cafes, snap-worthy landmarks, museums, parks and markets.
Manchester is a city of sharp contrasts, as exemplified in places like Didsbury, Salford Quays or the new Deansgate Lock. With fabulous daytime activities - such as various forms of vehicle-based action, beauty-based pampering or a spot of tongue-in-cheek pole dancing if you’re feeling naughty – you’ll begin to see how Manchester has the right to talk as big as it does. Simply read, this is a glowing testimony to the merits of the self-proclaimed capital of the north.
