LNOF Guide to Newcastle
Newcastle is mint, from the offset and throughout.
There’s a stereotype of Newcastle being filled with super-tanned girls in massive shoes with nee coats on, glugging cocktails and running riot through the Geordie streets, with the only intention in life to have an unbelievable night out. And we’re here to tell you that… it’s all true.
We’re proud of our Geordie homeland, Newcastle, and have good right to be. The unpretentious Geordie hospitality means that the city will wrap you up in its arms the moment you arrive and guide you through a wild night full of amazing clubs, passionate locals and loads of other stag and hen parties to run around the playground with.
As far as hen party destinations go, Newcastle is definitely my number one. I always end my nights on the Diamond Strip, it's absolutely mint.

Osborne Road in Jesmond is where many folk start their night – a pretty tree-lined street in the suburbs just a few minutes out of town, where the drinking gets going just after lunchtime and people dress up to the nines whatever time of day, and whatever the weather. Get a taxi into town (it'll cost you under a tenner) and you’ve got The Diamond Strip, of Geordie Shore fame – upmarket, trendy bars with sultry little corners and men who take care of themselves, flash the cash and quite possibly lavish you with cocktails. And, of course, you have the glorious and iconic Quayside – boasting high-end bars with stunning views in front of the glistening riverfront. There's also the rowdy, raucus Bigg Market for you to explore, with the likes of the Bavarian Bierkeller and The Mushroom bars.
We do, however, have a cultured side too. Newcastle has had a major facelift in recent years and it is packed with art galleries (one where you can even have afternoon tea with a view, bonus), music venues, acclaimed architecture and award-winning restaurants.
As far as hen party activities go, Newcastle is jam-packed with activities that will please all the girls in your group. No matter whether they're adrenaline junkies who'd love a fast paced, blood pumping activity like Geordie Games or Quad Biking, or they're a feet-on-the-ground kind of fun-loving hen, who'd prefer a Diamond Strip Cocktail Workshop or a spa day with afternoon tea - there's something for everyone our beloved Toon.
We also have some brilliant Newcastle Hen Accommodation for you to check out, including our very own Honeypot House, a set of brilliant themed apartments located right in the heart of the Bigg Market.
