Getting Around Liverpool

Liverpool is easily accessible, so whether you prefer to explore on foot, by bike or by car, getting around the city is pretty easy. Perfect when you’ve downed 5 tequila shots and are attempting the precarious cobble wobble.

It’s a great time be travelling by bus as Liverpool have introduced ‘the fairer fare’, meaning that single fares across Liverpool City are now no more than £2, no matter who operates the service. Although usually you will only need to get a bus if you’re travelling to the outskirts of town and you can find most of Liverpool's nightlife in the centre of town.

There are a few taxi ranks in Liverpool including Lord Nelson Street taxi rank (which is right next to the train station Liverpool Lime Street), Victoria Street taxi rank (close to Cavern Club and Mathew Street) and Alpha Taxis, which is a 10-minute walk from Albert Dock. Alpha Taxis calls itself "Liverpool's largest taxi company "and they can be called on 0151 722 8888.
