LNOF Guide to Krakow
Krakow is a stunning city of great beauty and endless charisma. What's the Krak? Let us explain...
A sense of history inevitably washes over anyone visiting Krakow for the first time. In a relatively small area, there's an amazing congregation of stunning architecture, atmospheric cobbled streets and a host of eye-catching pubs, strip bars and nightclubs - all perfectly accessible by foot, and all within a couple of hours drive of the magnificent Tatra Mountains. Instead of the skyscrapers of Warsaw, this unique destination throws up an irresistible combination of cultural beauty, historical significance and unapologetically modern party attitude.
‘Poland's Prague’ is arguably the most beautiful of its cities, and is also home to the country’s largest student population. With so many fun-loving young people able to fire up the nightlife, there's rarely a group who depart from a Krakow stag weekend without knowing that their heads, livers and feet have been put through the ringer in the pursuit of foreign fun.
The last stag do I went on was in Krakow and it was the best one yet. The shooting packages are awesome, even when you've got the shakes from the night before.

Life (and the entirity of your stag do) will primarily focuses around the city's famous Market Square, one of the biggest of its kind in Europe - it's here that you'll possibly find your perception changing at the precise moment your eighth Giant Haystacks-size shot of vodka kicks in. The Poles specialise in vodka, so don't make the mistake of thinking that what passes for a double back home in a Fog & Firkin will have any resemblance to the devil's own paint-stripper that's up for consumption here. We warn you - if you try to take on any of your hosts in a drinking contest, they'll be carrying you out by the shovel-full come morning.
Krakow's class is unavoidable, and not just in the strength of its alcoholic measures. With a Krakow stag do, there's dozens of activities to choose from - you can shoot, raft, kart and dance yourself into Polish folklore, as well as some cracking accommodation options .
